Section I

Privacy Policy

ApplicationConnectForge respects the confidentiality of personal data. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, commission work, or visit our public pages, and how we process it under applicable European data-protection law.

We are the controller of personal data collected through our website, correspondence, and project engagements. Our registered address is La Pature aux Boeufs, 49320 Brissac Loire Aubance, France. Privacy enquiries may be directed to [email protected].

What we collect. Inquiry forms and email correspondence may include your name, business email, telephone number, organisation, project notes, and any attachments you choose to share. Engagement work may also require operational identifiers (account names, IP ranges, API client metadata) that are not personal data but are handled with equal care.

Why we process it. We process personal data to respond to inquiries, prepare and perform contracts, send service communications, maintain business records required by law, and improve the reliability of our website. The legal bases are contract performance, legitimate interests in running a professional engineering practice, legal obligations, and your consent where you opt into optional cookies or marketing.

Sharing. We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with infrastructure, email, and payment providers solely to operate the services you request, under confidentiality and data-processing terms appropriate to their role.

Retention. Inquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months from last contact unless a contract requires longer. Invoice and contractual records are kept for statutory accounting periods in France. Where retention is no longer necessary, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

Your rights. Subject to law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL).

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] from the address associated with your inquiry, or postal mail to ApplicationConnectForge, La Pature aux Boeufs, 49320 Brissac Loire Aubance, France. We respond within the timelines required by applicable regulation.

Section II

Terms of Service

These terms govern professional services provided by ApplicationConnectForge to clients who commission API integration, proxy, authentication, webhook, or related engineering work. A signed statement of work or written order confirmation (the “Agreement”) forms the commercial contract between ApplicationConnectForge and the client.

Scope & delivery. Scope, deliverables, assumptions, and milestones are defined in the Agreement. Changes to scope require written approval and may affect fees and timelines. We will notify you promptly if dependencies outside our control (third-party APIs, partner outages, delayed credentials) affect delivery.

Fees & payment. Fees are stated in the Agreement. Invoices are due according to the payment terms listed on the invoice unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may accrue interest at the statutory rate permitted by French law. Secure payment links provided on this site are third-party hosted; ApplicationConnectForge does not store full card numbers on its own systems.

Client responsibilities. You will provide timely access to systems, documentation, credentials (stored securely), and decision-makers necessary for delivery. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you supply and for the lawful basis of the systems you operate through our work.

Intellectual property. Upon full payment, ApplicationConnectForge assigns to the client the intellectual property rights in the bespoke deliverables created under the Agreement, excluding ApplicationConnectForge’s pre-existing tools, libraries, methods, and know-how, which remain ours. We grant the client a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use embedded pre-existing materials solely as part of the deliverables.

Confidentiality. Each party will protect the other’s non-public technical and commercial information with reasonable care and will not disclose it except to personnel or advisors who need it and are bound to confidentiality.

Warranties & liability. We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. Except as required by law or expressly stated, services and deliverables are provided without other warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party’s aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid or payable under the affected Agreement, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law. The Agreement is governed by French law. The parties will first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes; failing that, the competent courts of Angers (or the client’s place of business where consumer law requires) will have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer protections.

Section III

Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar storage technologies help this site function and, where you allow them, help us understand how pages are used. This policy explains the categories of cookies ApplicationConnectForge may set and how you control them.

Essential cookies. These are required for core site behaviour—remembering your cookie-consent choice, protecting forms from abuse, and maintaining secure session state where applicable. The site cannot operate as designed without them.

Preference cookies. Optional cookies may remember interface choices such as language or layout preferences so you do not have to set them on every visit.

Analytics cookies. With your consent, we may use privacy-minded analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. These cookies do not identify you personally in our systems; they record aggregate interaction metrics.

Third-party content. Embedded maps, fonts, and payment links are served by their providers. Those providers may set cookies under their own policies when you interact with embedded content or checkout pages.

Managing cookies. When you first visit, a consent banner allows you to accept all cookies or continue with essentials only. Your choice is stored in local storage on your device (key: acf_cookie_consent). You may also delete stored cookies or block them in your browser settings at any time; note that blocking essential cookies can affect site functionality.

Section IV

Refund & Reimbursement Policy

ApplicationConnectForge provides professional engineering services. This policy sets out when fees may be refunded or credited so that expectations are clear before work begins.

Retainer & deposit. Project engagements typically require an initial deposit or retainer payment, as stated in the Agreement. Deposits secure schedule capacity and cover discovery work already commenced. Except where mandatory consumer rights apply, deposits become non-refundable once discovery, architecture, or implementation work has started, or once materials have been customised for your project.

Monthly retainers. Monthly SLA or stewardship retainers are billed in advance for the upcoming month. If you cancel, the current month remains payable and is not refunded on a pro-rata basis unless we terminate for convenience and no services were rendered in that month.

Non-conforming work. If deliverables materially deviate from the agreed specification, notify us in writing within fourteen days of delivery with reasonable detail. We will, at our discretion, remedy the non-conformity within a reasonable time, provide a fair credit, or, where appropriate, refund the portion of fees allocated to the non-conforming work.

Third-party fees. Payment-processor fees, cloud charges, or licensed software purchased on your behalf are generally non-refundable once incurred, unless the provider issues a refund that we pass through to you.

Chargebacks. Please contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the matter efficiently. Unjustified chargebacks may result in collection of fees and, where appropriate, suspension of further work.

Consumer protections. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable law, including EU consumer rules where they apply to a given transaction.

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] with your project reference or invoice number. ApplicationConnectForge, La Pature aux Boeufs, 49320 Brissac Loire Aubance, France.

Additional notices

Security. If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability in ApplicationConnectForge public systems or client deliverables delivered to you, report it confidentially to [email protected]. Do not include secrets or large personal datasets in the initial report; we will establish a secure channel if needed.

Changes to these policies. We may update Privacy, Terms, Cookie, or Refund notices to reflect operational or legal changes. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site or services after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
